  • Scott Porter

    Scott Porter, Chief Executive Officer

    As CEO of BlueArc, Scott combines his strong strategic business, leadership and financial acumen with a sound understanding of technology.

    Scott has been involved in the Information Technology industry for over 20 years and held various roles with broad responsibility in all aspects of the sales, marketing & supply chain including senior management positions with Microsoft Corporation in Australia, South East Asia & the United States.

    Most recently, while based in Redmond, WA (USA) he was the Director of Microsoft OEM Business, America's (North & South) and South Pacific Regions. In this role, Scott was responsible for consistently growing the Microsoft OEM business in more than 20 countries while implementing client satisfaction, employee development and numerous business development programs to ensure the long-term growth of that business.

    Prior to Microsoft, Scott worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles for Lotus Development while based in their UK Regional Headquarters.

    Scott is a former NSW Board member of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) as well as the past Vice Chairman on its Industry Development task force.

  • Chad Craven

    Chad Craven, Director - Interactive Business

    As BlueArc's Director of Interactive Business and has over 10years experience in the digital space. Chad combines his extensive business understanding with his vast experience in delivering large commercial digital projects. Chad oversees the strategy for the Interactive division and coordinates business development by working closely with the Interactive sales team to achieve measurable and meaningful business results.

    Prior to BlueArc, Chad was Solutions Manager at one of Australia's first web development firms in the early 1990's. In this role, he helped devise strategic plans and strategies for many of the country's top legal firms and accounting practices.

    Following this, Chad established CreativEngine, a web-focused design agency and one of the BlueArc founding companies.

    Chad has strong expertise in digital media capabilities and strategies, designing programs and systems around effective technology use, creative design and implementation with a specialised background in Web Content Management.

  • James Malloch

    James Malloch, Delivery Manager

    Prior to joining BlueArc, James Malloch held the position of Development Manager at QAS (UK), a market leading supplier of data accuracy solutions used by more than 9000 companies worldwide.

    It was here that James consolidated more than fifteen years of commercial software development experience, creating flexible bespoke database and telecommunication systems. Here, his clients included blue-chip companies including Shell International and Marconi Plc; a multi-regional designer, manufacturer and supplier of telecommunications and information technology equipment and services.

    At QAS, James was responsible for managing the applications division, encompassing public network operators, Internet service providers, large corporations, government departments, utilities and educational institutions.

    James’ practical application of standards and methodologies gives us confidence in his directives for the development, production and design of software and interactive solutions for all our clients.

    In his role as Delivery Manager for the BlueArc Group, James offers experience and knowledge to a team that respects his commercial integrity, and his consistent approach to maintaining and advancing our clients’ most important asset – their technology investment.

  • Phil Mitchell

    Phil Mitchell, Sales Director

    Phil Mitchell is the Sales Director of The BlueArc Group. Phil joined BlueArc in 2003 as a Sales Executive. With his drive, ambition and consistent success, Phil is now a key member of the BlueArc Senior Management Team.

    Phil is focused on working with clients to understand how technology can benefit their organisations. His passion and dedication for customer service has been the foundation for many long term client relationships with BlueArc.

    Outside of business hours Phil has been a member of the successful Mosman Soccer Club since 2001, enjoys adventures into the Australian country towns and most importantly spending time with an energetic young family.

    Phil’s previous experience includes sales and commercial roles in Real Estate, Retail, Telecommunications and Distribution. In 1999 he relocated from his native England to Australia and during this time also lived in the USA.

  • Ben Eames

    Ben Eames, Commercial Director

    In his role as Commercial Director for BlueArc, Ben consolidates more than 10 years of experience in sales and digital media to build strong client relationships together with insightful digital strategy, to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.

    Prior to joining BlueArc, Ben Eames held the position of Sales Director at Full Circle, a multi platform media and content business representing 13 STV channels and over 100 websites including the biggest loser club, IMDB and Vidzone.

    It was here that Ben reshaped the company’s national digital strategy and rebuilt the NSW Pay TV sales team to achieve significant new customer acquisition and sustained revenue growth.

    Ben has previously worked in various senior leadership positions with Macquarie Media Network and Sensis.

    Ben combines his business acumen and extensive knowledge of digital media to deliver tangible results for clients. He plays a pivotal role at BlueArc in leading and initiating the strategic development of the sales team and spearheading continued growth.
