BlueArc unveils new online centre for Company Directors

BlueArc has partnered with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, to deliver a new Company Directors’ website that makes it easier for users to access the information and services they need to assist them in their role as a director.

“In 2009, we surveyed our members to get their opinion about the existing website and how they would like to see it enhanced going forward,” said Fabio Bastian, Chief Information Officer, Australian Institute of Company Directors.

“In response to their feedback, we developed a strategy to deliver a fresh, user friendly website that provides greater relevance for directors. The result is a site that is easier to read and to navigate, with substantially improved search functionality, enabling users to quickly find what they need online,” he said.

Powered by Sitecore CMS technology and integrated with the powerful Endeca information access platform, the website provides the Australian Institute of Company Directors with greater control over site content and the tools to provide superior information and service delivery to members and the corporate governance community.

“We developed a strong working partnership with BlueArc who understood the needs of our organisation and developed solutions to address our particular complexities. We are pleased with the outcome of this project and the result, which is a more useable, more accessible and more relevant website for our members and the wider community. We researched the range of CMS systems on the market and Sitecore CMS provided the best match for our current needs and also provided the flexibility for any potential future innovation,” said Mr Bastian.
