Sitecore Site of the Year 2012

BlueArc has today announced that it has been recognised as a category winner in the 2012 Sitecore Site of the Year Awards!

Lauded for digital innovation, BlueArc has been awarded ‘Best Entertainment Category’ for our work with Village Roadshow on the 'Movie World' website.

Each year Sitecore’s Site of the Year awards recognise organisations that leverage Sitecore’s technology to develop an outstanding web presence and to deliver engaging digital experiences that increase marketing performance.

BlueArc has been awarded based on its use of Sitecore’s Web CMS and Digital Marketing System to deliver more effective business processes.

Scott Porter, BlueArc CEO, commented that the team at BlueArc is inspired by a culture of service excellence in the delivery of world-class online experiences for customers.

“It is an honour to have been recognised and awarded by Sitecore for our efforts on the Movie World website. We continue to push the boundaries of Sitecore development and in doing so, raise the bar to accomplish better digital outcomes for our clients. BlueArc is passionate about using best-of-breed technologies such as Sitecore to enable our clients to rapidly manage a successful digital business strategy,” said Porter.

The Sitecore judges considered creativity, integration with applications, overall site visitor experience and the ability to educate, inform and motivate an action.

Meagan Phillips, Digital Campaign Manager, Village Roadshow, commented, “The Movie World site has been live since February 2012, and has received very positive feedback ever since. Users are spending more time on site and ticket sales have seen a significant increase. We have developed a strong relationship with BlueArc throughout the project. They have really taken the time to understand our business and respond to our requirements with enthusiasm and reliability.”
